1) As soon as the user connects the Master Buds Open to the phone and opens the Noise Audio App, a forced firmware update (OTA) to V29 will be prompted.

2) This update is mandatory and cannot be skipped. V29 fixes issues related to the connectivity of the earbuds through the app, so the user must update to this version.

3) Before updating, ensure the earbuds are connected via Bluetooth and the Noise Audio App, have over 50% charge, and the mobile is kept close to the earbuds.

4) Do not close the case lid during the update – closing the lid disconnects the earbuds within 3 seconds and will stop the update.

5) Keep the Noise Audio App open and do not exit/refresh the app, lock the phone or turn off Bluetooth until the update is complete. The process may take a few minutes.

6) Do not make or take calls or play media during the update.

7) To confirm, open the Noise Audio App, go to Settings > Firmware Update and check that the version shows V29.

8) If the update fails or gets stuck, refer to “Not able to upgrade the firmware through APP”.
