1) Before pairing, make sure that your Master Buds Open and mobile/laptop are next to each other.

2) For a new unit, make sure the protective plastic (poly) inside the case has been removed. If it sits on the charging pins, the earbuds will not charge, power on or enter pairing mode.

3) Place both earbuds in the charging case and open the lid. On first use, the earbuds enter pairing mode automatically when the lid is opened. If not, keep the lid open and press and hold the charging case button for 3 seconds – the case LED will flash white (breathing). Search and select Master Buds Open to pair.

4) Pairing mode stays active for 2 minutes. If the earbuds are not paired within 2 minutes, they exit pairing mode – repeat step 2.

5) If the mobile’s Bluetooth list does not show the device’s name, restart the mobile’s Bluetooth.

6) Toggle Airplane mode (turn on, then off) on the mobile.

7) Restart the mobile phone.

8) If the earbuds were connected to another device earlier, turn off Bluetooth on that device – the earbuds reconnect to the last connected device as soon as the lid is opened.

9) Charge the earbuds for 30 minutes to verify charging (the case lid must be closed for the earbuds to charge).

Note: The pairing voice prompt may not be heard when pairing mode is entered through the case button (earbuds inside the case). This is normal.
