1) For a new unit, make sure the protective plastic (poly) inside the case has been removed – if it sits on the charging pins, the earbuds will not connect.

2) Before pairing with the app, ensure your smartphone and Master Buds Open are connected together. Open the mobile’s Bluetooth settings; the earbuds (e.g., “Noise Master Buds Open”) should appear—tap to connect.

3) If the name does not appear, place the earbuds in the case, keep the lid open and press and hold the case button for 3 seconds (pairing mode).

4) Once the earbuds name appear, tap to connect via Bluetooth.

5) Then, open the Noise Audio App; after searching, the ‘Noise Master Buds Open’ name will appear—tap it to connect with the app.

6) If the app does not find the earbuds, check the app permissions (refer to “App Permissions”).

7) On the first connection with the app, the mandatory firmware update (V29) will start. Complete it (refer to “Mandatory Firmware Update (V29)”).
