AI Initiation feature not working (PRO app feature)
1) Confirm the buds are Bluetooth-connected to the phone, then open the app.
2) Grant the app all requested permissions (Bluetooth, and Location where required for BT scan).
3) In the app, assign the AI Initiation gesture (it has no factory default) and save.
4) Update the app to the latest version; force-close and reopen.
5) Check AI Initiation with the customization set via the app.
Note: AI Initiation is a Pro feature with NO default gesture – it must be assigned through the Noise Audio app. The app needs the buds already Bluetooth-connected and the required permissions. The Basic model does not have AI Initiation.
Button customization not working
1) Ensure the earbuds are connected to the app.
2) Reassign the gesture and tap Save / Apply.
3) Verify the selected action is supported for that gesture.
4) Reset the earbuds and configure the gesture again if the issue persists.
Note: The gesture may not have synced to the earbuds, or the selected action may not be supported for that gesture.
Voice Assistant / Gaming Mode shortcut not working
1) Confirm the shortcut is assigned in the app.
2) Reapply the setting and reconnect the earbuds.
3) For Voice Assistant, verify Google Assistant / Siri is enabled on the phone.
4) Test with the default gesture assignment.
Note: The shortcut may not be assigned correctly, or the phone may not support the requested function.
App not syncing control changes / disconnecting from app
1) If the buds disconnect from the app, tap Reconnect.
2) Close and reopen the app; disconnect and reconnect the earbuds.
3) In app Settings, open the (3-dots) menu below the product image → 'Forget device', then reconfirm.
4) Remove 'ALT BUDS / ALT BUDS(S)' from the phone's Bluetooth settings, restart the app, and repeat pairing.
5) Reapply the settings and verify; restart the phone if required.
Note: Usually a temporary Bluetooth communication failure between the app and the earbuds.
Incorrect gesture triggered
1) Verify the gesture mapping in the app.
2) Reset the gesture to default and test.
3) Assign the desired function again.
4) Test using distinct taps with proper intervals.
Note: The gesture configuration may be incorrect, or the tap timing may not be recognized properly.
Music controls not responding
1) Test with another music application.
2) Verify the gesture assignment in the app.
3) Disconnect and reconnect Bluetooth.
4) Restart the music application and test again.
Note: Some music applications handle media controls differently.
Call controls not responding
1) Ensure Call Audio is enabled in Bluetooth settings.
2) Test using another incoming call.
3) Forget and pair the earbuds again.
4) Verify the assigned call gesture in the app.
5) Restart the phone if the issue persists.
Equalizer not working / no change in sound
1) Ensure the earbuds are connected via Bluetooth and the Noise Audio app.
2) Open the app and go to the Equaliser section.
3) Select a preset or use Custom EQ, then play music to test.
Find My Buds not working
1) Verify the earbuds are connected via Bluetooth and the Noise Audio app.
2) In the app, go to Settings and select 'Find My Buds'.
3) Tap Play to trigger a rising tone from the selected earbud.
4) Tap 'Found it' to stop the tone (make sure the buds aren't in active use first).
Firmware update not working (via app)
1) Ensure the earbuds are connected via Bluetooth and the Noise Audio App , with more than 50% charge.
2) Open the app, go to Settings, and select Firmware Update.
3) If an update is available, tap to update; it may take a few minutes – do not exit or refresh the app during the update, keep the charging case lid open during the FW upgrade.
Not able to upgrade the firmware through the app
1) 'Forget' the earbuds in the Noise Audio App .
2) Remove / forget 'ALT BUDS / ALT BUDS(S)' from the phone's Bluetooth settings.
3) Reset the buds (case, lid open, case button 10s → "RESET"), bring them back into pairing mode, then retry the firmware upgrade.
App update
1) Open the Noise Audio app and go to Settings.
2) Select 'App update' (offered if an update is available).
3) Alternatively, check the Play Store / App Store for updates.
